I am a Child & Youth Worker, Reiki Master, Pranalife Certified Yoga Instructor (200hr) as well as a traveller, a lover of life and good coffee, and a very proud mom of two incredible young men.
Child & Youth work was my first passion. I have spent over 25 years working in both the private and public sectors including group homes, summer camps, a therapeutic residence placement agency and school boards providing young people with social, emotional & behavioural support.
My first Reiki experience was when I was 19 (thanks, mom!) and in 2010 I started my own Reiki journey when I began my training. Over the past 10+ years I have continued my reiki studies and practice, completing the Reiki Master training in 2017. Beyond that, I have worked with other energy work modalities as well and have first hand experience in the power of prayer and the importance of having a personal relationship with God.
I dove into yoga in 2011 on my journey towards physical improvement and was surprised when I discovered that a yoga practice had many perks that went far beyond the physical… inner strength and resilience, improved focus, concentration and emotional balance while going through a challenging time. Because of this, I was inspired to share with others the benefits I was enjoying. This inspiration led me to complete the Pranalife 200 hour YTT in 2014 with my favourite yogi and mentor, Pranalife’s Asia Nelson, and I haven’t looked back.
The benefits I have experienced first hand, as well as the benefits my clients have experienced, are why I teach & coach now. I firmly believe that as whole beings, a holistic approach for supporting physical, mental and emotional wellness is essential. My passion lies in helping others rediscover their own strength, balance, and sparkle in this life – inside and out.
